Why are banks so over-zealous with levying their stupid charges?
Two unpaid bills with a £38 bank charge each time, plus the late payment charges that they'll slap on top, plus the bills themselves... Looks like I'm pawning my Wii as well as my N800, then. Great.
Of course, it'd have been easier if the stupid TV Licensing people would let you claim a refund. I had no idea they were going to steal £36-odd from my account for three months of un-used license on a house I no longer live in. |

| | Infected Mushroom: Echonomix | ] | Harebo's tip for the day - don't get hammered in a different town when you have work in the morning... x___x
But backstory! Last night self ventured into sunny Paisley for the Andrew Weatherall gig/club night at Club 69 (titter), alongside local figures arachnademus and deepfriedmango. 'Twas electrotastic! Totally crowded, dark and sweaty with no air conditioning, just like clubs used ta be! Got chatting to a random 35-year-old who felt like he was the oldest guy there... I found it amusing and charitable to call him 'Junior' all night. Also less confusing, since his actual name was 'Maz'...
- - - - I love the West End! It's full of rubbish!
West End rubbish often consists of perfectly good furniture like the sweeeet extending wooden dinner table we found in our street and shamelessly staggered off with. Srsly, I'd expect to see it in a charity shop for, like, 70 quid. Or, in our dining room, gratis. Now to steal some chairs!
- - - - So, my bank card expired. And the replacement was sent to my ex's, who sent it back. And now I can't access my cash unless I physically walk into a bank, which I physically can't do as I'm as physically at work all day. (Well, not that physically.) So, no cash for me until my next day off and no new card for two weeks! Teach me to change my banking address sooner. -___-
Bugger, missed this month's comic artists meetup. We did get a bit carried away with our impromptu furniture-assembling party...
Anyway, just need to watch last week's Doctor Who (the Time Lord fae Paisley - see a pattern? ) and I'm almost all caught up. Nae spoilers! |

It's update time! *watches you all run away* >:
Back in Birmingham over summer. I've already seen the car break down again and it's been less than a week! XD
I stole avalix0's job in Derby over summer. Means I have to commute - I only work one day a week because of it - but at £8 an hour, I'm not complaining.
Tokonatsu and AmeCon plans have been made (well, insomuch as getting there). For Toko, I'll be in MK really rather early (about 10:30), mainly because I'm meeting up with avalix0 and Aura at MK Central for a coffee or six before heading over to the campsite (they're travelling early, so I figured I'd join 'em). For AmeCon, I might well be visiting avalix0 in Guildford before going to Leicester. Depends on my monetary situation, which is currently pretty dire - but hopefully being paid will ease things a little.
Yup, that's about it for now. |

Also further evidence has came to light that all Ball Jointed Dolls should be burned for being demon possessed mockerys of human life from the souless pits of the underworld.

Ladies and Gentlemen. As you have heard from my subordinates future flatmates.
WE HAVE THE FLAT!
Well at least we have passed the credit checks. Last thing to do is look over the lease and sign it on the 10th. At which point i shall make the great transistion of paying for my own shit. Living away from home.
And not before time to, i'm about a year behind schedule, but oh well.
So yes i've generally been quiet LJ front about it. So where shall i be moving to?
108 THE PRISM
Shit ye not. The building is in fact called the Prism. If its not a secret research base or a launch site for advanced weaponry i'm going to be very disappointed. The flat itself is a sexy sexy 3 bedroomed flat with massive combo living room/kitchen, a bathroom and ensuite shower room, spiral staircase and a balcony. I do indeed approve of it. It's located south side of the river literally 10/15min walk from city center and 5 mins from a subway station. Its also got the springfield quay nearby for Cinema/Bowling/DDR.
Cons? Council Tax is batshit, its next to the M8, and the area itself is not the greatest
Still i'm hopefull about this place. It is Sexy Sexy
So yeah should move in within the month, with my dignified english butler Mr Coleman and my crazy catgirl maid Kim.
It shall at least be intreasting, whatever happens.
PS: If they blow the planet up the week we sign the lease then i'm going to be so peeved its not going to be funny. |

| | pleased | ] | Gotham Knight was way better than I was expecting. It's a compilation of individual animations done by different directors and studios but unlike the Animatrix it uses the same lead characters in each segment mainly Bruce Wayne/Batman, Commissioner Gordon and his lead detectives in the MCU as well as Alfred and the 2 main gang bosses so it's interesting to see them all done in different styles and with different appearances. Even though Batman/Wayne himself are all voiced by the familiar sound of Kevin Conroy his personality actually changes to suit each style with the older Manga-esque style Bruce being all angsty and serious while the bishie version of Bruce is softer and more playful. The stories are all well written and enjoyable and the action, music and general atmosphere of each segment is reminiscent the early 90's WB animated series (although a lot more graphic in some places) apart from 'Have I Got a Story for You' which is a bit more modern and stylised. The way some of the stories interconnect with each other is nicely done as well even though they also work as stand alone segments. The only problem with it is that even though it runs for over an hour in total the whole thing feels really short and leaves you craving more afterwards which I suppose is the point really seeing is it's been timed to tie in with the release of The Dark Knight movie.
Overall I'd give it a 'better than average' 4 bitter, vengeful, pointy-eared orphan millionairres out of 5 |

Well, the Catty was a bit naff after all. Cryotec numbers have gone way down in the last year, to the point where I really didn't recognise anyone, not even anyone we wanted to punch. We left after 40 minutes.
....And went to a strip club! Dead classy, us. My kinda girl, not only does Washu not mind her boyf' going to a saucy nudefest, she actually suggests it in the first place. She so lesbionic...

| | freeballin' | ] | Today I came to the shocking realisation that as I've been aquiring more boxers shorts in the past 6 months or so (mostly from gifts such as christmas presents etc but also 1's I've bought myself lately) I have less of the airy, baggy types that I always used to wear and I now have more of the tighter Calvin Klein styles with the pouch area. This has recently caused me to start suffering from chaffing around the areas where the top of my legs meet my crotch so I've decided that rather than scrap the boxers that are causing the problem and having to locate and purchase the older style 1's I'm just going to give up underwear altogether for the time being. That's right, from tomorrow onwards I'm going to be free-balling! :D Shouldn't be too much of a transition seeing as I always sleep that way anyway (except when guests are present of course) but it may still take a bit of getting used to.
Tomorrow on 'Things you absolutely needed to know about my life'... my BOWEL movements! *thumbs up* :D |

After 11 weeks of avoiding your adventures due to my long standing abhorrence of that Tate woman, I have decided to give your new series the opportunity to prove itself.
